These circuit training classes provide a safe and effective workout as well as a venue for meeting other pre/postnatal women.

Pre/Postnatal Workshop
Join Certified Personal Trainer and pre-/postnatal fitness specialist Karen Shopoff Rooff for a discussion of fitness tips especially suited for pregnant and postnatal women. Most people know that exercise during pregnancy is beneficial for both mama and baby, but the physiological changes of pregnancy present specific challenges. By receiving proper direction, women can rest assured their fitness program is benefitting their changing body and doing no harm to their baby.
Postnatal women, often eager to get their bodies back, have concerns about how far to push their bodies and how soon to do so. With acceptance of the postnatal period as one of change and progression, a properly designed fitness plan allows postnatal women to reap the physical and mental benefits of exercise without overexertion.
We will also address ways to make workouts efficient and invigorating, plan fitness training that can be done in the home, and balance taking care of your baby and yourself.
